Summer Florals – Crafty Meraki

Hello, crafters and happy Wednesday!! I have a floral die-cut card to share for Crafty Meraki to celebrate the summer season!! I look forward to container gardening every summer!! Nurturing and watching my flowers grow and thrive (usually) just makes my heart happy!!

I started by die-cutting the florals from three shades of pink and the leaves from two shades of teal cardstock using the Peony Artisan Flora Die Set. The peonies were layered and adhered together with Bearly Arts Glue.

Next, I trimmed a panel of pink cardstock to A2 size and a piece of pattern paper from the For the Love of Flowers Paper Pad slightly smaller. I also die-cut a scalloped rectangle from vellum.

The top layer of the Meraki Moments Hi Die Set was cut from dark pink cardstock and the bottom layer was cut three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The layers were stacked and adhered together with Bearly Arts Glue.

The two background panels were adhered together, then the flowers, leaves and sentiment were adhered to the vellum panel with liquid glue. The vellum panel was adhered to the background, adding liquid glue only behind the die-cuts.

Aurora Dew Drops were sprinkled onto the background and adhered with liquid glue using a Bling Buddy to add a bit of shine and finish off the card.

That does it for me today!! Thank you so very much for stopping by!! I appreciate your time!!
