Hello, crafters and happy Sunday!! I have four cards to share today created with die sets from the stunning Summer Solstice Garden Collection from Spellbinders!! I’m a huge fan of Susan’s die sets!! The dimension in these sets is so amazing!! All of the sentiments are from the previously released Nature’s Botanical Garden Press Press Plate and Die Set.

My first card features the Anemone Etched Die Set…

I die-cut the Anemone Dies from white cardstock and added color and shading using Distress Inks and Copic markers. The background was created with the Beautiful Butterflies 3D Embossing Folder. A strip of Mulberry cardstock separates the striped patterned paper from the embossed panel. I added a trio of Crystal Mix Color Essential Gems for a bit of sparkle. Look at that dimension!!

My second card features the Petunia and Hummingbird Die Set…

The flowers, leaves and hummingbird in the Petunias and Hummingbird Die Set were cut from white cardstock. I used various dye inks to add color, then shaped the petunias and adhered the die-cuts to an embossed background created with the Nature’s Botanical Wreath 3D Embossing Folder. I added a bit of ink to the panel with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink and a blending brush. I added some leaves that I had left over from my previous card to fill out the arrangement. Crystal Mix Color Essential Gems finish off this card.

The Echinacea Dies were used to create my third card…

All the pieces of the Echinacea Die Set were cut from white cardstock and blended with colorful dye inks. I lightly blended Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink onto an A2 panel of white cardstock, then splattered it with a bit of diluted white bleed-proof ink.

Last, but certainly not least is the Cosmos Die Set…

I think these flowers are my favorite!! I searched for different Cosmos flowers on the internet and the colors and striations on the petals on this variety stood out to me!! I die-cut the Cosmos Dies from white cardstock and colored the die-cuts with Copic markers. The background was created with the Flowers and Foliage 3D Embossing Folder. It was trimmed slightly and adhered to an A2 panel of Dahlia cardstock.
