Sunflower Friendship Card – Scrappy Tails Crafts

Hello again, friends!! I have a floral friendship card to share today for Scrappy Tails Crafts!! I love stretching my supplies and getting the most from my stash!! I decided to use the sunflower dies from the A7 Fall Tree Pop Up Die Set to create an A2 card!!

I began by die-cutting the elements for the sunflowers from green, yellow and brown cardstock using dies from the A7 Fall Tree Pop Up Die Set to create an A2 card. I added a bit of shading using dye inks and small blending brushes.

For the background, I die-cut a small rectangle from white cardstock and blended Tumbled Glass and Bundled Sage Distress Inks onto it. I diluted the same inks and splattered them onto the panel. Once dry, it was adhered to a panel of brown cardstock that was die-cut with a scalloped rectangle die. A panel of yellow gingham cardstock was adhered to an A2 panel of brown cardstock. I adhered a strip of burlap paper across the panels and trimmed the excess from the edges. The scalloped piece was popped up with foam tape and the sunflowers were adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment, from the Storefront Sentiments Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. I tied a double length of black and white twine around the panel and tied it into a bow. The sentiment was adhered with foam tape and yellow pearls from the Harvest Blessings Mix finish off the card.

Thank you for dropping by!! Have a wonderful day!!
