Hello, friends!! I hope you are all doing well!!
I have a fun card to share with you today featuring some goodies from the most recent Let’s Celebrate Release from Honey Bee Stamps!! This release was jam-packed full of so many amazing products that I’m still working my way through them all!! Let’s get started!
I began by white heat embossing the letters to spell “FRIEND” onto pale pink cardstock using the Sugar Cookie Alphabet Stamp Set, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. “You are the sweetest”, from Baked With Love, was also white heat embossed and cut out with the Coordinating Dies. I also cut the round and heart shaped cookies and frosting from the same pale pink and white cardstock using the dies in the Cookie Sheet Honey Cuts. I added a couple of layers of white embossing powder to the white die cuts so they would be shiny like frosting is, then added some decorations with Strawberry Coulis Nuvo Drops.
I inked the edges of the cookies with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Inks to give them a “baked” look, then splattered them with diluted ink in the same colors. The piping bag, also from Baked With Love, was white heat embossed onto vellum and cut with with its Coordinating Die. I added some clear embossing ink onto the back of the die-cut with a Versamark Pen and then added white embossing powder.
The baking sheet and spatula were cut from frosted silver cardstock using the Cookie Sheet Honey Cuts. I trimmed a piece of vellum to fit and cut the edge with some good ol’ decorative scissors. Then I just adhered it all together with Bee Creative Liquid Glue.
I will need to send this in an envelope for a 5″ x 7″ card, but I couldn’t resist letting the spatula and piping bag hang off the cookie sheet!!
Thank you so much for spending a bit of time with me today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!
