Happy Tuesday, fellow crafters!! I’m sharing a thank you card combining the new Lovely Layers: Cottage Honey Cuts from Honey Bee Stamps with a couple of older die sets to create this scene card!!

I began by die-cutting all the elements for the cottage from white cardstock using the Lovely Layers: Cottage Die Set. I added color and shading with various Distress Inks and blending brushes, then added additional details using Copic markers. All the die-cuts were adhered together using Bee Creative Glue.

For the background, I die-cut the Farmhouse Fields Scene Builder Die from white cardstock and used the Farmhouse Fields Stencil Set  and Distress Inks to add color. I also used Copics on the background to add in some detail. A panel of A2 white cardstock was blended with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. The sentiment, from the So Special Stamp Set, was stamped onto the panel using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. A few clouds from the Cottage Countryside Die Set were cut from white cardstock and adhered to the background using Bee Creative Glue.

The Farmhouse Fields die-cuts were adhered to the background using Bee Creative Glue, along with the cottage. I added a bit of detail to the flowers using a white gel pen and this card was finished.
