Thankful For You – Honey Bee

Hello, friends!! We are finally experiencing cooler temperatures in the Midwest!! I am definitely enjoying the cool breeze through the open windows!!

I love finding ways to combine newly released products with previously released ones!! It makes me feel like I am getting the most from my supplies!!

For this fall card, I paired the Pumpkin Patchstamp set and Coordinating Honey Cuts with the Grateful stamp set and Thankful Honey Cuts!

I began by stamping the pumpkins, leaves and acorns from the Pumpkin Patch stamp set onto white cardstock with Fadeout Ink, for some no-line coloring. After all of the images were coloring with Copic markers, I cut them with the Coordinating Honey Cuts and set them aside to work on the background. I blended Mermaid Lagoon, Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron onto a panel of Bristol paper with Background Blending Brushes. I splattered it with water and diluted gold ink and black paint.

The Thankful Honey Cuts were used to cut “Thankful” from Gold Dust Glitter Cardstockand black cardstock. The remainder of the greeting was white heat embossed onto black cardstock using the Grateful stamp set. All of the elements were adhered as shown, with the greeting being popped up with foam adhesive. White highlights were added to the images with a white gel pen and I was finished!

Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! I hope you finally have a touch of fall temperatures where you are!!

Get ready for an AMAZING winter release from Honey Bee!! Sneak peeks start tomorrow!!!

I’ll see you soon!!

  1. Love that gold glitter cardstock. The grateful and thankful stamp set was my first purchase from Honey Bees. I really love those BUZZ words, just a beautiful font, just perfect.
