Thankful For You – Trinity Stamps

Happy Friday friends!! I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend!! I have a card for Trinity Stamps to share with you today!!

I have fall on the brain lately!! I wanted to create a fall themed card with leaves, so I pulled out all of my stamp sets that had leaves in them and got busy!! (Spoiler…just wait until you see the sneak peeks of the fall release from Trinity coming your way at the end of next week!!)

I began by gold heat embossing leaves from the Picture Sentiments, Seasonal Sweetheart and Spring Fling Florals stamp sets onto Bristol paper. I watercolored the background with diluted Distress Inks and set it aside to dry. Once it was dry, I went back and watercolored the leaves…again with Distress Inks, but less diluted this time. After the panel was fully dry, I splattered the panel with left over diluted ink.

I cut a portion of the panel that I wanted to use and saved the rest for another card. I wrapped some twine around a panel of patterned paper from the Harvest Festival Paper Pad and adhered it to a kraft cardbase. A strip of brushed gold cardstock was added to the top and bottom of my watercolored panel and it was adhered toward the top of the card. “Thankful For”, from Seasonal Sweetheart,  was gold heat embossed onto a plum strip of cardstock and adhered with foam adhesive. “You” was cut by only using the “you” die from the Thank You Senti_mini die set. It was cut from plum and brushed gold cardstock, then adhered as shown. A couple of leaves from the Autumn Leaves Embellishment Mix were added to the twine, along with a bow. A sprinkling of the Autumn Leaves Embellishment Mix also leads your eye across the card.

Thanks so much for joining me today!! I hope I’ve inspired you to take a closer look at the small stamps in your stash!!

Have a great weekend and I’ll see you soon!!!
