I recently had the opportunity to try out some products from Fun Stampers Journey!! They have some really beautiful floral stamp sets and I used one of them in today’s project!!

Let’s get started!!

I began by stamping a couple of the flowers and the bow from the Cottage Bouquet stamp set onto heavyweight white cardstock with pale ink, as I wanted to do some no-line coloring. I colored the images with Copic markers and added details with the Journey Color Burst Pure Color Pencils. I really love these pencils!! I found that they weren’t too hard or too soft; they were perfect for adding in the fine details!! I cut out the images with the Cottage Bouquet Coordinating Dies. I really wanted the bouquet to shine, so I just ink blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto the center of a white cardbase with a blending brush. The sentiment, also from the Cottage Bouquet stamp set, was stamped toward the bottom of the cardbase in purple ink. The bouquet was adhered with foam adhesive, adding some extra adhesive between the flowers, for even more dimension.
