Hello friends!! I hope you had a wonderful, relaxing, holiday weekend!!
I just love the flowers from the latest Honey Bee release & wanted to color the buttercups from the Chin Up Buttercup again.
I began by cutting the 3rd largest heart from the Stacking Heart Honey Cut Dies from Bristol paper. I did some ink blending onto the heart with Wilted Violet & Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Inks, spritzing with water and picking up the excess with a paper towel. Next, I used Momento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp the flowers and leaves from the Chin Up Buttercup stamp set onto white cardstock. After coloring the images with Copic markers, colored pencils and adding accents with a yellow gel pen, the Chin Up Buttercup Honey Cut dies were used to cut them out. The flowers were arranged into a bouquet and adhered to the ink-blended heart. A panel of black cardstock was adhered to a white A2 size cardbase. The same heart from the Stacking Heart Honey Cuts was used to cut a heart from the front of the card. I also cut the heart from another piece of heavyweight white cardstock and adhered it to the inside, front of the card. This made the card front more substantial, since the heart is cut pretty close to the cardbase edges. The ink-blended heart was adhered to the inside of the cardbase, being sure to line it up with the front panel. The Thankful Honey Cuts were cut from purple & white cardstock, stacked and adhered across the heart opening. The sentiment, from the Goodness Gracious stamp set, was stamped with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. Aurora Lights Confetti Mix was the perfect embellishment!
Thanks so much for joining me today!! Have a great week & I’ll see you soon!!!
