Happy Honey Bee Tuesday everyone!!
I hope you got your order in for the New Fall Release goodies!! What an amazing release, huh? Today I combined a couple of components from the new release with one of my favorite older die-cuts for an autumnal thank you card…
I started of by using my beloved Distress Oxide Inks, ink blending them onto a background panel. I spritzed it with water, then absorbed the water and some of the color with a paper towel to create some texture. I stamped the leaves from the Bushel And A Peck set multiple times onto Bristol paper with Versamark and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder. The leaves were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then fussy cut after they were dry. I cut the Thanks with the Large Thanks Honey Cut, coated with Versamark, then gold embossing powder. I repeated this step two times to build up the thickness of die. The sentiment is from the Forest Friends set and was also heat embossed with gold powder toward the bottom of the ink blended background. I used a Versamark marker and gold embossing powder to create small dots around where the sentiment and wreath would be placed. The leaves were placed into a wreath and adhered with foam adhesive. Lastly, the embossed Thanks die was adhered across the wreath.
I really appreciate you taking the time to stop by today!! Have a GREAT day!!!
