Thanks – Alex Syberia Designs

Happy Monday, fellow crafters!! I hope you had an amazing weekend!! I’m sharing a floral “thanks” card featuring one of the stunning floral images from the Alex Syberia Designs Tulips In Bloom Stamp Set!!

I started by stamping the floral bouquet, butterflies and bow in the Tulips In Bloom Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Copic-friendly black ink. I used my Copic markers to color them, then cut them out with their Coordinating Dies. I added highlights to the butterflies and stamen of the flowers with a white gel pen.

A panel of white cardstock was die-cut with the smallest rectangle die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangle Die Set and I blended periwinkle dye ink onto the center using a blending brush. The largest rectangle die in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set was cut from periwinkle cardstock and the smaller rectangle was adhered using liquid glue. The floral and bow were adhered using liquid glue and the butterflies were popped up with foam tape.

The sentiment is also included in the Tulips In Bloom Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with dark purple ink (although it looks black in the photos) and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also die-cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the stamped one. It was adhered to the bottom, right area of the background using liquid glue. Lots of soft gold gems finish off the card and add a bit of sparkle.

That does it for me!! Thanks so much for dropping by today!!
