Hello everyone!! Welcome to my first blog post as a design team member for The Ton!! I was so humbled and honored when Effie invited me to be a part of this amazing team!! The Ton is my favorite stamp company…I just love their beautiful floral designs, so it was a no-brainer for me to say yes. I am new to blogging, so please bear with me…I am always open to ideas or ways to improve. Anyway, on to the card…

I absolutely love the Thoughtful Poppies stamp set…the way the poppies are drawn is so realistic that it just pops off the page…perfect for adding more dimension. I stamped the image onto heavy white cardstock with black ink and colored with copic markers. Colored pencils combined with copics are my favorite way to make an image pop…so that’s exactly what I did. I highlighted the center of the flower with a yellow gel pen. The Just Saying Hello sentiment is also from the Thoughtful Poppies stamp set. it was stamped with clear embossing powder and heat embossed white embossing powder onto purple cardstock.. I trimmed the sentiment and used a square punch to create the banner end. The sentiment is popped up onto some fun foam for a little dimension. The panel was die cut and then matted with purple cardstock and attached to a white card base. A sprinkling of sequins from the Cotton Candy Puff Couture Mix finished off the card.
