Hello, friends!! The Ton is releasing a small stencil and coordinating die release today!! There are a few of us hopping along to celebrate!! You should have arrived here from The Ton’s Blog!! I’ll have your next stop at the end of this post.
My card today features the new Watercolor Peony Layering Stencil Set & Coordinating Die…
I began by stenciling the Watercolor Peony Layering Stencil Set onto white cardstock using Rose Quartz, Hollywood Star, Cosmopolitan Pink and Beach Blondie inks. I used the Coordinating Die to cut out the peony. The Dahlia Leaves Layering Stencils were blended onto white cardstock with Soft Garden and Bright Fern inks, then cut out with their Coordinating Die.
For the background, I die-cut the Convention Coverplate Die from white cardstock and layered it over a watercolor washed background, then adhered it to an A2 white card base. The peony and leaves were adhered with liquid glue, trimming the excess from the edges.
The sentiment, from the Script Notes Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Noir ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up with foam adhesive. Pink Opaque Rhinestones add a bit of shine and draw your eye to the sentiment.
Anna is your next stop!! Be sure to head over to The Ton’s Blog to see the full release and for more inspiration!!
