Hello, fellow card makers!! The Ton has a brand new release including 6 new stencils with coordinating dies!! All new products are available to ship immediately!!
I have three cards to share with you today!! All three feature sunflowers!! One of my favorite flowers!!
The first one features the Sunflower Fields Layering Stencil Set! This set is a huge landscape field of sunflowers! I chose to ink it up and trim it down to create two cards!
I began by inking the sunflowers with the following inks: Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Beach Blondie, Lemon Drop, Amber Citrine & Found Topaz; the centers were blended with Aspen Cocoa & Dark Roast; Soft Garden & Bright Fern inks were used for the leaves. I added the black accents to the centers of the flowers with a black marker, die-cut the image with the Coordinating Die, then cut the image in two pieces.
Next, I stamped the Haute Stripes Cling Background Stamp onto white cardstock with Noir ink. I trimmed strips from the panel and adhered them to the left edge of white top-folding cardbases. I matted the stenciled panels with black cardstock and adhered them to the card fronts.
The sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock using the Easy Expressions Birthday Stamp Set, Amber Citrine and Noir ink. The Coordinating Die was used to cut them out. They were popped up with foam tape.
I finished these off by sprinkling Gold Rainbow Opaque Rhinestones around the sentiments.
My third card is a 5.5” x 5.5” square card showcasing the Luminous Sunflowers Layering Stencil Set…
I used the same inks as the first cards with the exception of the leaves. I used Bright Fern and Everglade Moss for the leaves on this one. Once dry, I cut it out with the Coordinating Die and adhered it to a square panel of black cardstock. I wanted a frame around it, so I die-cut the Square Frames Slim Borders Coverplate Die from black cardstock and adhered the largest square die-cut to the card front.
“Hello” was die-cut from black cardstock using the Script Hello Die and adhered with liquid glue. The sub-sentiment was left from the Easy Expressions Birthday Stamp Set that I used on the first set of cards. It was popped up with foam adhesive.
I added some of the same Gold Rainbow Opaque Rhinestones and called this one done!!
