Welcome to the first day of May and a new challenge for The Ton!!! This girl is so ready for spring and all the lovely flowers that come with it!!! This month we are playing a fun game of Tic Tac Toe. Here is the game board:

I actually could go two different ways with this card…the far right squares: gold, stripes & watercolor or the middle horizontal line: glitter, embossing & stripes.

I began by stamping the Sunflower Garden Cling Background Stamp onto Bristol cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers (now available in The Boutique!!) were used to watercolor the beautiful image. I used an embossing marker and some gold glitter embossing powder on the center of the largest sunflower. I trimmed the panel down slightly and adhered it with some fun foam onto some gold foil striped pattern paper, before adhering it to the front of a top fold note card. The sentiment is from the Dearest Peony stamp set and was stamped and embossed onto a brown cardstock strip with gold embossing powder. A sprinkling of sequins from the Hot Cocoa Couture Mix & Glass Slippers Round Confetti Mix finished off the card. Here are a couple of more pics…
