Hello and welcome to The Ton’s Spring 2021 Blog Hop!! This release is chock-full of so many beautiful stamp sets, coordinating dies, coverplates and stencils, as well as 19 New Inks, 4 New Mini Ink Bundles and 19 Reinkers !! SO. MUCH. GOOD. STUFF!!!
If you arrived here from Olga’s Blog, you’re on the right track!! I have also included a full list of stops on the hop at the end of this post.
I have two cards to share with you today!! Both of them include new patent pending grouped layering stamps and dies! Let’s get started!!
My first card features the Grouped Fresh Daisies Stamp Set. I stamped the flowers onto white cardstock with Ballet Slippers, Hollywood Star, Cosmopolitan Pink. Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Lemon Drop and Amber Citrine Inks. The leaves and stems were stamped with Soft Garden and Bright Fern Inks. I also stamped the mason jar onto vellum with Cali Blue Ink and clear heat embossed it. I die-cut the images with the Grouped Fresh Daisies Coordinating Dies.
For the background, I die-cut all three layers of the Gingham Plaid Layering Coverplate Dies from white cardstock and adhered them to a white top-folding card base. The stems and mason jar were adhered with liquid adhesive and the flowers and leaves were popped up with foam tape. I added some dots to the centers of the daisies with a yellow gel pen.
The sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock with Hollywood Star and Cosmopolitan Pink Inks using the Ribbons General Stamp Set. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam adhesive. Sequins from the Yellow Belly and Pink Blossoms Couture Mixes completes this one!!
My next card features the Grouped Fresh Carnations Stamp Set.
The carnations were stamped onto white cardstock with Soft Amethyst, Iris Blooms and Grape Crush Inks. The stems were stamped with Soft Garden and Bright Fern. I die-cut the blooms with the Grouped Fresh Carnations Coordinating Dies. The leaves were left over from the daisy card above. I also stamped the sentiment with Grape Crush Ink and fussy cut it out.
For the background on this one, I die-cut the Quilted A2 Coverplate Die from white cardstock and layered it over a panel of purple cardstock. I just LOVE the little hearts on this coverplate die!! I die-cut a rectangle from the same purple cardstock using the Double Stitched Rectangle A2 Coverplate Die and adhered it to the background panel.
The bottom carnation and leaves were adhered with liquid adhesive, while the top carnation and sentiment were popped up with foam adhesive. I added a few Light Amethyst Sequins to finish this one off!
I’m so excited to have these florals in the grouped layering stamps and dies!! It makes things so much easier!!
Here’s is the complete list of stops on the hop:
