Happy Tuesday, friends!! Welcome to The Ton’s Spring 2022 Release!! We are celebrating with a short hop full of inspiration!! You should have arrived here from The Ton’s Blog. I’ll have a complete list of stops on the hop at the end of this post.
I have four cards to share with you today!! They were all created with the new Blended Peonies Stencil Set!! This is a seven layer stencil set that is 9″ X 12″!! It has registration marks to line up a sheet of 8.5″ X 11″ cardstock. I created four card fronts from one sheet of cardstock!!
I inked my flowers with Soft Orchid, Orchid Crush, Grand Fuchsia, Pink Derby and the centers with Beach Blondie and Amber Citrine. Meadow and Evergreen inks were used for the leaves. Then I used the Blended Peonies Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I simply added them to a die-cut background, added a sentiment and I had four cards finished!!
For my first card, I die-cut the Quilted Coverplate A2 Die from white cardstock and adhered it to a white top-folding card base. The trio of peonies was popped up with foam tape.
I stamped the Easy Expressions: Birthday Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Grand Fuchsia and Noir ink, then cut them out with the Coordinating Die. This stamp and die set is another way to make quick cards!! I store my extra sentiments in the back of the stamp pocket and I have several sentiments ready to go!! I popped the sentiment up onto foam tape and added some Deep Pink Gem Rhinestones to finish off this card!
For this one, the A2 Grid Coverplate Die was cut from white cardstock and layered onto the front of a white A2 card base. I adhered the peonies in opposite corners.
I wanted my sentiment to match my ink, but I didn’t have the perfect shade of pink cardstock. so I swiped the Grand Fuchsia Ink Pad directly onto a panel of white cardstock. Once it was dry, I die-cut the Script Love Die from it. I also die-cut two more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and layered them behind the colored one, then added it to the front of the card.
This one was made similar to the last one. This time I die-cut one of the Diamond Plaid Layering Coverplate Dies from white cardstock and adhered it to the front of a white A2 card base. I adhered the peony die-cut to the bottom of the card.
The Script Hugs Die was cut from the Grand Fuchsia inked cardstock that I created for my previous card. I also stacked two white die-cuts behind it for dimension and adhered it to the front of the card.
My fourth and final card was probably the easiest and quickest to create. I adhered the peony die-cuts to each side of a white top-folding card base.
I adhered one of the sentiments that I created earlier with the Easy Expressions: Birthday Stamp Set with foam tape. A sprinkling of Soft Pink Gem Rhinestones was the perfect finishing touch!
Now I have four cards to add to my stash!!
The next stop on the hop is the super talented TaeEun. Here’s a complete list of stops:
