Here are the cards I created:
I fell in love with this Pragmatic Wreath stamp set!! You can build your own wreath!!! I made a couple of cute square cards with this set. I started by stamping the semi-circle wreath image twice with Soft Garden Ink. Then I inked the same image again with Bright Fern Ink, this time blotting away some of the ink, to create a two-tone effect when I stamped over the image. I continued to build my wreath using the floral images…inking first with the lighter color & then dabbing the darker color around the edges of the coordinating ink. I used Rose Quartz & Hollywood Star, Blue Diamond & Cali Blue, Soft Amethyst & Iris Blooms, Beach Blondie & Amber Citrine. I stamped the “Happy Mother’s Day To The Best Mom Ever” sentiment from the same set. I went in with colored pencils and gels pens to add more dimension to the flowers and leaves. The card base was mounted on fun foam for a little dimension and matted with vellum. I used the floral images and the lightest of each color ink to create a soft card base and mounted the panel to that. A few sequins from the Summer Skies mix completes the card. This will still fit in an A2 envelope, so it will not require any extra postage.
The second card today uses the Sunflower Cluster Mini set that is included with a purchase of $100 or more (how cool is that?). I stamped the largest sunflower with Vanilla Frosted Cupcake and colored with colored pencils. I stamped the branch from Pragmatic Wreath with Aspen Cocoa Ink, then the flowers and leaves with Soft Garden, Rose Quartz, Beach Blondie & Soft Amethyst. I added some colored pencil to the florals to create some definition. The entire image was outlined with copic marker. I matted the panel with blue cardstock and placed on a top folding craft cardstock. The “Happy Birthday” sentiment was white heat embossed onto kraft cardstock. I used Aspen Cocoa Ink with a blending tool along the edges of the card base and the sentiment strip. A few sequins from the Summer Skies mix completes the card!!
