Happy Friday, friends!! The Ton Stamps December Release includes some last-minute holiday designs, along with some winter and everyday products. Shipping will begin early next week.

My card today features the beautiful Cozy Chickadees Die Set…

I absolutely love these little chickadees!! I started by die-cutting all my pieces for the birds from white cardstock using the Cozy Chickadees Dies. I added color and shading to the die-cuts using Warm Hazelnut, Soft Cream and Noir inks, then adhered them all together with liquid glue.

Next, I blended Evergreen, Everglade Moss, Valentine Red, Wine and Aspen Cocoa inks onto white cardstock through the Pine Branch Berry Layering Stencils. I created two branches for my design, then used the Coordinating Die to cut them out.

For the background, I die-cut the Diamond Quilted A2 Coverplate Die from aqua cardstock and blended a bit of Hot Tourmaline ink around the outer edges. I adhered the branches with liquid glue and trimmed the excess from the edges, adding the pieces that were cut off to the top and bottom of the panel. It was splattered with diluted white bleed-proof ink, then set aside to dry.

The sentiment, from the Easy Expressions: Holiday Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and fussy cut. The sentiment and birds were popped up with foam tape. To finish, I added shine to the bird’s eyes with a black glaze pen and a tiny highlight with a white gel pen.

This Cozy Chickadee Die Set is definitely a must-have!! You’ll also be seeing this Diamond Quilted A2 Coverplate Die A LOT from me!! I LOVE it!!
