Happy Friday, crafty friends!! The Ton has an amazing new Summer 2022 Stamp & Stencil Release today!! This release is full of stunning stamps, stencils and coordinating dies!! All new release items will begin shipping next week on 7/15.

I have two cards to share with you today!! Although there are amazing stencils and layering stamps, of course I reached for the outline stamps first!! Coloring is my therapy!!

My first card is a 6″ square card featuring the gorgeous Poppy Close-Up Stamp…

I stamped the Poppy Close-Up Stamp onto white cardstock with Caviar Ink, then stamped it onto masking paper and fussy cut it out to create a mask. I adhered the mask over the poppy and stamped the Fierce Ferns Stamp onto the panel with Caviar Ink. The mask was removed, revealing the poppy with the fern leaves behind it.

I colored the image with Copic markers, then trimmed the panel slightly smaller than 6″ x 6″ and adhered it to a 6″ square panel of black cardstock, then to a white card base. I accented the stamen with a yellow gel pen to make them stand out more.

The sentiment is also from the Fierce Ferns Set. It was stamped with Caviar Ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I popped it up in the lower right corner with foam tape and added some Red Rhinestone Gems for the finishing touch.

You know that I’m a huge fam of the Coming Up Series, so I was super excited to see the beautiful Coming Up Poppies Stamp Set!!

I began by stamping the Coming Up Poppies Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Caviar Ink. I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out with the Coordinating Die.

For the background, I stamped the Confetti Arches Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Soft Amethyst Ink and cut it out with the second largest die in the Rectangle A2 Nested Die Set. I cut a piece of coordinating purple cardstock with the largest Double Stitched Rectangle A2 Nested Die and adhered the stamped panel to it, then the poppy die-cut.

This sentiment is also from the Fierce Ferns Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with Caviar Ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die, then adhered with foam adhesive. Soft Amethyst Rhinestone Gems finish off the card.
