Welcome back to Day 3 of The Ton’s Fall Release!!! Tomorrow is the last day of previews and you will be able purchase all of these fantastic products!! We have a huge blog hop scheduled for Friday that you do not want to miss!! Don’t forget to leave comments along the way for a chance to win some great prizes!!
If you love poinsettias the way I do, you are going to LOVE today’s new goodies!! I never knew poinsettias came in so many different colors!! A quick Google search showed all the colors of the rainbow!! For my first card, I decided to go traditional…
Don’t you just love this cluster of poinsettias in the Cozy Poinsettia set? I began by stamping the cluster with Caviar Ink, since I intended to color it with Copic markers. I also added some additional shading and details with colored pencils. I fussy cut the cluster along the top of the image, although the Coordinated Die will also be available. The sentiment is a combination of the Good Tidings Cluster set and the Cozy Poinsettia. It was also stamped with Caviar Ink and shaded with a Copic marker. The front panel was cut from red cardstock. The Good Tidings Cluster was stamped in each corner with Versamark and heat embossed with gold sparkle embossing powder. The Minor Stripes Cling Background stamp was stamped onto white cardstock with Noir Ink. I cut a strip on a diagonal and placed it under the fussy cut panel, which was adhered with foam adhesive for some added dimension. A bit of gold Stickles and some small clear sequins from the Milky Way Couture Mix finished off the card.
My next card is one of my favorites!!
I stamped and heat embossed the Poinsettia Background Cling Stamp onto Bristol paper with white embossing powder. Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers were used to color the poinsettia. The panel was trimmed down to create a 5 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ card. I selected coordinating cardstock from my stash to mat the panel onto. The sentiment from Holiday Love Poinsettia was stamped onto a strip of vellum and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I did some selective stamping and left of the word Love from the stamped sentiment. I instead replaced it with the Hello Word Die, which was cut from the same green cardstock and from white cardstock four times. The die cuts were stacked on top of each other, then adhered to the vellum strip. Frosted Spearmint Couture Mix provided the perfect green to accent the sentiment.
