The Ton’s Fall 2019 Release Instagram Hop

I chose to feature the Dahlia Close-Up 2 today! I absolutely adore the Close-Up series of florals that Effie designs!! They are sooooo much fun to color!! I usually lean toward pink or purple hues for these, but I chose to use fall colors today!!

I began by heat embossing the Close-Up Dahlia 2 with rose gold embossing powder on Bristol paper. I colored it with Zig Clean Color Markers and trimmed it to fit onto a 5.5″ x 5.5″ cardbase. I cut “amazing” with the Bold Amazing Greeting Word Plate Dies directly from the colored dahlia panel. I popped the entire panel up with foam adhesive onto an orange cardstock panel. “You’re” was cut from the same orange cardstock using the Sweetheart Word Plate Dies and adhered above the negative area of “amazing”. A few Rose Gold Sequins were scattered around the sentiment to complete the card!
