Hello, again!! The Ton is releasing a new pop-up die today!! These Pop Up Sunflower Dies are to-die-for!! See what I did there…lol!! We’re celebrating with a short blog hop full of inspiration using this new set!! (Complete list of stops below.)
Let’s start with the inside of the card, then I’ll show you the front…
How fun is this?!? Effie has a great step-by-step video that you can follow along with for the perfect assembly HERE. I cut all of the elements from the Pop Up Sunflower Dies from blue, green, yellow and brown cardstock. I also added details with Copic markers and a yellow gel pen to add even more dimension. Once the sunflower was assembled, I adhered it to the inside of a blue card base.
Since the final card is a bit thick, I decided to make a coordinating belly band to hold it closed.
I stamped the sunflowers from the Grouped Fresh Sunflowers Stamp Set with Beach Blondie, Amber Citrine, Found Topaz, Aspen Cocoa and Dark Roast inks. The leaves were stamped with the Crystal Garden Collection. The stamped images were die-cut with the Coordinating Die. “Hello” is from the Ribbons General Stamp Set. It was stamped with Cali Blue and Parisian Blue inks, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. I can’t get enough of the sentiments in these Ribbon stamp sets!!
I wrapped strips of white and yellow cardstock around the card to create the band, then adhered the sunflower, leaves and “hello” die-cuts to the band. It slides off really easily to reveal the beautiful surprise inside!!
This was so much fun to put together!! What a unique surprise to find inside a card!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great day and I’ll see you soon!!
