There Is Always Something To Be Thankful For – Honey Bee Stamps

Happy first day of October, fellow crafters!! Once I turn the page on my calendar to October, it really feels like fall!! (Even if we are still in the 80s during the day in the Midwest!) I have a fall card to share today featuring the Lovely Layers: Fireplace and Lovely Layers: Fireplace Falloween Add-on die sets from Honey Bee Stamps!!

How cozy is this?!? I started by die-cutting all the pieces for the fireplace from gray, kraft, orange, yellow and white cardstock using the Lovely Layers: Fireplace Honey Cuts. The accessories were cut from orange, cream, matte gold, kraft and yellow cardstock and blue and plaid pattern paper from the Homestead Harvest Paper Pad using the Lovely Layers: Fireplace Falloween Add-on Die Set. I added shading to the die-cuts using dye inks, Beeluxe Blending Brushes and my finger, then adhered all the pieces together using Bee Creative Glue.

For the background, I die-cut the “wallpaper” from pattern paper in the Homestead Harvest Paper Pad and the “floor” from the Grain and Grunge Paper Pad using the second die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. They were adhered to a white A2 card base with Bee Creative Glue. All of the die-cut swere adhered using a combination of Bee Creative Glue and foam tape.

The sentiment, from the Blessings of Fall Stamp Set, was stamped onto cream cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up at the top of the card with foam tape. I added some highlights with a white gel pen and this adorable scene was finished.

I absolutely LOVE how this turned out!! I just want to crawl into this scene!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you soon!!
