Hello, crafty friends and happy Friday!! I hope you’ve had a great week!!
I can’t believe Father’s Day is just a little over two weeks away!! I have a fun, masculine card to share with you today for Trinity Stamps…perfect for that wonderful man in your life!!
I usually start with the focal point on my cards, but this time I started with the background. This plaid background was created with one of the stencils in the Slimline Stripes Stencil Set, a red thin-line marker and a white gel pen. I adhered the Slimline Stripes Stencil to Bristol smooth cardstock with Pixie Spray and ink blended InkOn3 Peacock Blue Ink through it with a Blending Buddy. I cleaned my stencil, rotated it 90 degrees and added the blue ink again. Once dry, I used a T-square ruler to add lines with a red thin-line marker and a white gel pen.
I stamped the images from the Totally Amazing Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink, colored them with red Copics in an ombre’ fade, then die-cut them with the Totally Amazing Coordinating Dies. “Happy Father’s Day”, from A Sentiment for (Almost) Everything, was white heat embossed onto a red cardstock strip and adhered to the plaid panel, trimming off the ends. The plaid panel was adhered to white cardstock and then an A2 size panel of red cardstock. The die-cuts were popped up onto the plaid panel with foam adhesive.
A few Cinnamon Red Hot Jelly Drop Heart Embellishments were the perfect finishing touch!! That’s it…I really love how this turned out!!
Thanks so much for hanging out with me today!! Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you soon!!
