Hello, crafters and happy Thursday!! I have a fun Halloween card to share with you today for Crafty Meraki!! Sometimes I find it intimidating to try to create a scene with an entire card front, so I like to create a focal point to draw you into a smaller scene, as I did with the tag here!!
I began by die-cutting the Love Slimline Tag Die from white cardstock. I stamped the spider and web from the Fangs For Being My Friend Stamp Set onto the tag and the witch from the same set onto another piece of white cardstock using InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then fussy cut the witch. (There are Coordinating Dies available, but I don’t have them, so I just trimmed her out.)
I trimmed down the tag to size and blended a bit of Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink onto the outside of the tag. The sentiment, from the Ghostly Greetings Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto a black cardstock strip. The sentiment, along with the witch, was adhered using foam adhesive. I threaded orange ribbon through the hole in the tag and tied a sheer orange polka-dot bow to it.
The green pattern paper, from the Celebrate Good Times Paper Pad, was trimmed slightly smaller than A2 and adhered to an A2 white card base. The tag was adhered with liquid adhesive and a few Prismatic Purple Sparkle Gems finish it off.
That’s it for me today!! Thanks for stopping by!! See you next soon!!
