Hello, friends and happy Thursday!! The Trinity Stamps 12 Days of Christmas is in full swing and I have a shaped card to share with you today for Day 8!!
I was inspired by the snowglobes that have a large image inside with the year on the front. My mom gifts my sister-in-law a snowglobe every year and she has amassed quite a collection!!
I began by die-cutting the card base from heavyweight white cardstock using the Snowglobe Card Die Set, then I cut it again from light blue cardstock and trimmed off the back half and adhered it to the card base with liquid glue. I cut the outline portion of the snowglobe from holographic cardstock and the base from white cardstock and adhered those with liquid glue also.
Next, I die-cut the Big Snowflake Cut & Foil Die Set from silver glitter, holographic and white cardstock. I used liquid glue to adhere those to the center of the snowglobe, tucking the bottom of the snowflake under the base.
The year 2022 was die-cut from silver cardstock using the Modern Embossed Numbers Die Set. Those were also adhered with liquid glue and this card was finished.
I really love how this turned out!! This is much more my asthetic when it comes to snowglobes and the Snowglobe Card Die Set makes it so easy to create a shaped card, whether you like it simpler like I do, or wish to add a little scene inside!!
Be sure to check out the Trinity Blog for amazing inspiration for the 12 Days of Christmas!!
Have a great Thursday and I’ll see you soon!!
I like the snow globe shape and the sparkle.
