Hello, friends and happy Thursday!! I have a fun, pumpkin shaped Halloween card to share with you today!! It’s release day for the Trinity Stamps August Release & we’re celebrating with an Instagram hop featuring tons of inspiration from the design team and guests!! I’ll add a link to my IG account at the bottom of the post so you can join in the festivities and possibly win a $25 GD to the Trinity shop!!
How cute is this?!?!? I began by die-cutting the pumpkin die in the Pumpkin Shaped Card Die Set from orange cardstock. I die-cut the eyes, nose and mouth from the pumpkin shape, then die-cut the inside shadow from yellow cardstock and the stem from green cardstock. I adhered the yellow cardstock to the back of the pumpkin shape with liquid glue, then backed it with black cardstock.
The card base was cut from heavyweight white cardstock using a die that’s also included in the Pumpkin Shaped Card Die Set. It was folded along the score line and reinforced with a teflon folder. The pumpkin face and stem was adhered to the card base with liquid glue.
I added a twine bow the the stem of the pumpkin and curled the ends with a small barrel curling iron…(it worked perfectly!!)
I used the new Simply Sentimental: Halloween Stamp & Coordinating Dies.”Happy” was stamped directly onto the inside of the card base with black ink. “Halloween” was stamped onto orange cardstock with the same ink, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was adhered with liquid glue and this card was finished.
Isn’t this just adorable?!? I can’t wait to use other Halloween and fall stamps and dies from the new release to embellish the front of this pumpkin!!
Be sure to join us over on Instagram for lots of inspiration and a chance to win that GC!! You can get started on my account @mypapercutcreations. Check out the rest of the incredible August Release in the shop HERE!!
Have a great Thursday!!
