Hello, everyone!! Happy Friday!! I hope you’ve had a great week!!
The Coffee Lover’s Hop kicks off today!! Trinity Stamps is a super sponsor of the hop so I had to join in on the fun!! Be sure to visit the Coffee Loving Cardmaker’s Blog to check out the hop and enter to win some fantastic prizes!! Today is also the final day of sneak peeks for the Sunnyside Up Release!! It will be available for purchase tomorrow!!
This adorable gnome and chick from the Spring In My Step really jumped out at me for the hop!! After all, coffee definitely puts a spring in my step, so I thought it was perfect to combine it with the Coffee Mug Card Die Set!!
Let’s get started!!
I began by stamping the oh-so-cute images from Spring In My Step stamp set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. After coloring them with Copic markers, I fussy cut them out. (The dies will be available for pre-order tomorrow.)
Next, I did all of my die-cutting. I cut the Coffee Mug Card Die from white and brown cardstock; the picket fence, grass and trees were cut from white, brown and green cardstock using the Slimline Great Outdoors Borders and Builder Dies.
I added some Copic marker stippling to the tree tops and some ink blending to the rest of the dies with Blending Buddy Brushes and Distress Oxide Inks.
The coffee, grass, fence and tree were all adhered to the coffee mug with liquid adhesive, trimming away the excess from the edges. The adorable gnome, chick and butterfly were popped up with foam adhesive.
The sentiment, also from Spring In My Step, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and fussy cut. It was also popped up with foam tape.
I think this turned out so cute!! What about you, what puts a spring in your step?
Don’t forget…the Sunnyside Up Release (including this adorable gnome and more) will be available for purchase tomorrow!! The design team will be celebrating with a fun and inspiring Instagram Hop!!
Have a great weekend!!
