I’m always super excited to use my papercrafting supplies to make projects other than cards!! Although I LOVE cardmaking, it’s always fun to stretch my supplies, don’t you agree?

My project today is a shaker bottle gift card!! Perfect to add to a bottle of wine or sparkling cider for the holidays!!

I began by watercoloring onto a panel of the new Trinity Mixed Media Paper. I mixed InkOn3 Trinity Teal and Goddess Green inks with lots of water. Once it was dry, I splattered the panel with diluted ink in the same colors.

Next, I die-cut the Bottle Gift Tag and Christmas Tree Cut Out Dies from two pieces of white cardstock. I discovered that the largest die in the Modern Embossed Circles & Panels Mini Slimline Dies cut the perfect panel for the front of the bottle tag, so I die-cut the panel that the tree was die-cut into with it. I adhered acetate and foam adhesive to the back of the tree panel. Rainforest and Tropical Waters dewdrop baubles were added for the shaker bits and the watercolored panel was adhered to the back, then that was adhered to the bottle tag.

The sentiment was created with the Simply Sentimental – Happy Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies. The top layer of “Happy” was die-cut from teal glitter paper once and white cardstock three times. The shadow layer was cut twice from white cardstock. All of the die-cuts were layered and adhered together. “Holidays” was stamped onto a white cardstock strip with Trinity Teal Ink and adhered with foam adhesive.

I also die-cut some snowflakes from the same teal glitter paper and white cardstock using dies from the A-7 Snowflake Frame Die Set. They were layered and adhered in a visual triangle onto the front of the bottle tag. Tropical Waters dewdrop baubles were added to the centers of the snowflakes and this tag was ready to gift a bottle of your favorite wine!! What a great way to add a little pizzazz to a hostess gift!!
