Trinity Stamps Winter Release Blog Hop

Hello, crafty friends!! Welcome to the Trinity Stamps Winter Release Blog Hop!!

All of the new products are available NOW in the shop!!!

There are 10 new stamp sets (with coordinating dies available), 9 stand-alone dies and 2 stencil sets in this incredible release!!

I am the second stop on the hop, so you should have arrived here from the Trinity Stamps Blog. The next stop, as well as a complete list, is at the bottom of this post.

Let’s get to my projects!!

The first one features the super cute Have An Ice Day stamp set…

I began by stamping the adorable images from Have An Ice Day onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. After coloring them with Copics, they were cut out using the Coordinating Dies. ( I did cut between the mittens so I could place the mug in his hands.) For the background, I blended Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock with a Blending Buddy Brush.

For the ice, i used Copic markers on a panel of white cardstock and cut the top edge with a die from the Castle Builder Scene Die Set. The trees were cut from green cardstock with the same die set. I also blended some Mowed Grass Distress Oxide Ink onto the trees for some dimension. The sentiment, from Season’s Tweetings, was white heat embossed onto a strip of black cardstock. All of the elements were adhered together as shown, with the bear, mug and sentiment being popped up with foam adhesive. Diluted white gouache was splattered on with a paint brush to add a snowy feel to the scene.

My second card features the Winter Friends stamp set and all of the new dies in the Slimline Series…

Who else is super excited about these new Slimline Dies?!?! No more Googling to find the correct dimensions…yay!!! The Stitched Card Panels and Windows set nests right inside the Scallop Card Panels and Banners set to create the perfect frames for shaker cards!!

I stamped the images from the Winter Friends stamp set onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic markers. The Coordinating Dies were used to cut out the images. I die-cut the largest of the Scallop Card Panels die from white cardstock and then used the middle sized die from the Stitched Card Panels set to cut out the center.

For the background, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks were blended onto a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock with Blending Buddies. It was splattered with water, picking the excess up with a paper towel. I also cut another panel of Bristol paper with one of the dies from the Scenic Borders Slimline set, and blended Peacock Feathers Distress Ink onto it.

I adhered all of the elements together for the shaker and used Diamond Dust for the snow inside. I adhered all of the Copic colored die-cuts to the outside of the shaker. I added some snowflakes, which were white heat embossed, ink-blended die-cut. The sentiment, also from Winter Friends, was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, die-cut and adhered as shown. A few details were added with a white gel pen to the critters and their accessories for the finishing touch!

Here are a couple of projects that I created for sneak peeks this week…

This one features the adorable Gingerbird House stamp set and Coordinating Dies. How fun is this? You can create and decorate your own gingerbread house for the cute little birdies!!

This one just melts my heart!! It pairs the Snowmen Border Builder with the Merry Christmas Senti-Mini stamps and Dies.

Phew…that’s it for my projects!!
