Winter Greetings – Pretty Pink Posh

Merry Christmas Eve, friends!! I hope you’re all ready for a visit from Santa!! I have a card to share today for Pretty Pink Posh!! I can’t get enough of the adorable Penguin Friends Stamp Set!!

I started by stamping the cute penguin from the Penguin Friends Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored it with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. I added a little shine to the eyes with a black glaze pen and used a white gel pen to add some highlights.

For the background, I blended Speckled Egg, Wilted Violet and Spun Sugar Distress Inks onto a panel of white cardstock through the Snowflake Background Stencil. I die-cut the panel with a rectangle die, then adhered it to an A2 panel of purple cardstock.

The Winter Greetings Shadow Die was used for the sentiment. The top layer was cut once from purple cardstock and two times from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was cut from white glitter cardstock one time and from heavyweight white cardstock twice. The layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue. I die-cut three snowflakes from white glitter cardstock using a die from the Christmas Holder Additions Die Set and adhered them to the background with liquid glue. The sentiment was adhered to the center of the background and the penguin was popped up with foam squares. A few clay snowflakes from the Winter Wonderland Clay Confetti Mix finished off the card.

That does it for me today!! Have a very Merry Christmas Eve!!
