Hello, fellow crafters and happy Thursday!! I hope your week is going well!! I have an Autumn card to share with you today for Trinity Stamps!!
I began by stamping one of the trees from the Beautiful Bare Trees Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Twiggy Brown Ink. I stenciled the leaves using the Foliage Layers Layering Stencil Set with Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge, Seedless Preserves, Mustard Seed and Peeled Paint Distress Inks and Blending Buddy Brushes.
Next, I blended the same inks around the perimeter of an A2 panel of white cardstock. The center of the panel won’t show, so I only inked the outside. Once the ink was totally dry, I gold heat embossed leaves from the Little Leaves Stamp Set around the outside of the panel.
The tree panel was die-cut with a die in the Clean Cut Layers A2 Rectangle A Die Set. I swiped my embossing pad onto the edges of the panels and embossed them with gold embossing powder, then adhered them together with liquid glue.
I decided to add some gold touches to the tree, so I stamped and gold heat embossed some of the individual leaves from the Beautiful Bare Trees Stamp Set onto the tree. I also gold heat embossed the bird onto white cardstock, then cut it out with its Coordinating Die.
The sentiment is a combination of stamps from the Beautiful Bare Trees and Simply Sentimental – Hello stamp sets. They were gold heat embossed onto white cardstock and cut out with the Beautiful Bare Trees and Simply Sentimental – Hello coordinating die sets.
The bird and both sentiment die-cuts were popped up with adhesive foam strips, to finish the card.
There’s just something about fall colors, don’t you think?!?
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great day and I’ll see you soon!!
