With Deepest Sympathy – Honey Bee Stamps

Hello, friends!! I needed a sympathy card for a friend and I also needed to sit and relax for a bit. Coloring is therapy for me, so I decided to pull out the beautiful Zelia’s English Garden Stamp from Honey Bee Stamps for a coloring session.

I began by stamping the stunning Zelia’s English Garden Cling Stamp onto white cardstock with Momento     Ink. I die-cut it with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set, then colored it with Copic markers and added detail with colored pencils.

I added texture to the panel with the Burlap 3D Embossing Folder. The largest die in the Scallop Frames A2 Die Set was cut from a panel of wine cardstock. It was adhered to a cream A2 card base with Bee Creative Glue and the embossed panel was adhered on top.

The sentiment, from the Heartfelt Condolences Stamp Set, was stamped onto cream cardstock using wine dye ink. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. I used a black glaze pen to add a bit of shine to the hummingbird’s eye and scattered a few Crystal Glimmer Enamel Stickers for a little subtle sparkle.

I love how the Burlap 3D Embossing Folder makes the background look like fabric!! I definitely feel more relaxed after this coloring and card making session!!

Thank you so much for dropping by today!! Have a wonderful week!!
