Happy Monday, fellow crafters!! I pulled out the Avian Allure Stencil Set from Alex Syberia Designs to create my card today!! I used the stamp set HERE, but hadn’t had a chance to use the layering stencils yet!!

I began by stenciling the Avian Allure Layering Stencils onto white cardstock mixing several different colors of pink, coral, yellow, green, teal, brown and black dye ink. The Coordinating Die was used to cut it out. I love that the die is in one piece, allowing you to line it up one time and cut out all of the images in one pass through the die-cut machine.

For the background, I die-cut a panel of white cardstock using the Floral Splendor Cover Die. The largest rectangle die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangle Die Set was cut from aqua cardstock and the floral die-cut was adhered with liquid glue. The Leafy Duo Dies and the largest circle die in the Nested Stitched Circle Die Set were cut from vellum. They were arranged and layered onto the front of the card, along with the bird, leaves and flower die-cuts, using liquid glue.

The sentiment is from the Avian Allure Stamp Set. I absolutely LOVE this greeting!! I white heat embossed it onto black cardstock, used the Coordinating Die to cut it out, then popped it up with foam tape. I added dots to the centers of the flowers with a yellow gel pen and highlights to the bird with a white gel pen. A trio of yellow gems finish off the card and add a bit of sparkle.

I really love the softness of this!! The combination of these products is the perfect way to convey a heartfelt message!!
