Happy Tuesday, friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start!! I’m sharing a friendship card featuring the Nancy’s Lilac Bouquet Stamp Set and Great Greetings: Love Honey Cuts from Honey Bee Stamps today!!

I started by stamping the large arrangement from Nancy’s Lilac Bouquet Stamp Set twice onto white cardstock using Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, added dots to the centers of the small flowers with a yellow gel pen, then used the Coordinating Die to cut them out. I colored the lilacs in shades of pink to look like hydrangeas. I also splattered the die-cut with diluted white bleed-proof ink.

For the background, I embossed a panel of white cardstock with the Burlap 3D Embossing Folder, then trimmed it slightly and splattered it with diluted black ink. Once the ink was dry, the floral arrangements were adhered in opposite corners with Bee Creative Glue and the excess was trimmed from the edges. A panel of mauve cardstock was die-cut with the largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set and the burlap embossed panel was adhered with Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiment is a combination of the Great Greetings: Love Die Set and the Nancy’s Lilac Bouquet Stamps & Coordinating Dies. The top layer of “XOXO”, from the Great Greetings: Love Die Set, was die-cut from white cardstock and the shadow layer was cut once from black cardstock, once from mauve cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The sub-sentiment, from Nancy’s Lilac Bouquet, was stamped onto black cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink, embossed with white embossing powder, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also die-cut one more layer from mauve cardstock and three layers from heavyweight white cardstock. All the layers of the die-cut were stacked and adhered together using Bee Creative Glue, with the mauve layers slightly offset behind the black layers. Once the sentiments were adhered with Bee Creative Glue, mauve pearls from the Vintage Pearls Sticker Pack finish off the card.

That’s it for me!! It’s no secret that I can’t wait for spring, but more snow is on the way in Missouri today so I’ll just keep coloring flowers to get my spring fix…lol!!
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!!
