Hello, crafty friends!! I hope those of you in the US had a nice, long holiday weekend!! I have been a bit under the weather, so mine wasn’t near as productive as I’d hoped it would be…lol.
I have a pretty simple card to share with you today for Honey Bee Stamps!! I adore all of the birds in the Birds of Paradise stamp set and couldn’t resist making one more card…this time with one of the flamingos in the set!!
I began by stamping the flamingo from the Birds of Paradise stamp set onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. After coloring it with Copics, it was cut out with the Coordinating Die.
For the background, I simply trimmed a sheet of patterned paper from the Beach Vibes Paper Pad slightly smaller than A2 size. I die-cut the palm trees from brown and green cardstock using the Beach House Add-On Honey Cuts and adhered them to the patterned paper background.
The sentiment, from Tropical Tweets, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Dies. The flamingo and die-cut sentiment was popped up with foam adhesive. I added a few highlights to the palm trees and flamingo with a white gel pen.
That’s it!! The patterned paper background really makes this a quick and easy card to put together!!
Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!
So beautiful!
