Happy Monday, crafters!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! I had some serious shopping & girl time with my best friend who I hadn’t seen in a year!! Much needed!!
I have a Christmas card featuring the Festive Poinsettia Stamp Set to share with you today!! I finally got the chance to watercolor this stunning poinsettia!! It also fits in with the November Inspiration Challenge, which is Christmas!!

I began by heat embossing the poinsettia and sentiment from the Festive Poinsettia Stamp Set onto watercolor paper using Lindy’s Gang Gimme Five Gold Embossing Powder. I mixed Lindy’s Gang Magical Shakers with water and used them as watercolor. I wish I could capture the shimmer on this card in my photos!! Once dry, the Coordinating Dies were used to cut them out.

For the background, I die-cut the Sparkly Flakes Cover Die from a panel of watercolor paper. The pine branches included in the Festive Poinsettia Stamp Set were stamped onto the background by applying the diluted Lindy’s Gang Magicals to the stamp with a paint brush, then stamping it onto the background. It was splattered with Glory of the Seas Gold Shimmer Spray.

The poinsettia was adhered with liquid glue and the sentiment was popped up with foam tape. A few gold embellishments were adhered to the center of the poinsettia and around the sentiment as the finishing touch.

Lately, I have been loving letting my images hang off the edges at times!! I’ll just add it to a larger envelope when I mail it.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you soon!!
