Hello, my crafty friends!! I hope your week is going well!! Can you believe it’s the last day of April?!? I have a soft spring card to share today featuring goodies from the latest Honey Bee Stamps Celebrate Release!!

I began by stamping the images from the Sweet Songs Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I colored them with Copics, added highlights with yellow and white gel pens, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I also used a black glaze pen to darken and add a bit of shine to the birds’ eyes.

For the background, I die-cut the peach pattern paper from the Textiles & Textures: Celebrate Paper Pad with the largest die in the Lovely Layouts: Party Die Set. I also die-cut the second largest die in the same set from vellum, then embossed it with the Soiree 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the flowers and music scale to the vellum with Bee Creative Glue, then adhered the vellum to the peach panel, adding liquid glue only behind the die-cuts. The birds were adhered with foam tape.

The sentiment, from the Blessings of Spring Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with bright blue dye ink. The Coordinating Die was used to cut it out and it was popped up with foam adhesive. Periwinkle gems from the Let’s Party Gem Sticker Pack were the perfect finishing touch.

I love these soft, complementary colors!!
