Hello, fellow crafters and happy Thursday!! I have a beautiful butterfly card to share with you today featuring the Meraki Stamp Set from Crafty Meraki!!

I began by gold heat embossing the Meraki butterfly onto bristol smooth cardstock. I watercolored the image to match the Crafty Meraki logo with Karin Brushmarker Pro Markers, then fussy cut it out. The sentiment, also from Meraki, was gold heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out by hand.

For the background, I chose a couple of alcohol inks in purple and pink and added them to Yupo paper with blending solution. Once dry, it was trimmed down and adhered to a panel of purple cardstock. The butterfly and sentiment were both popped up onto the background with foam adhesive.

I really love the wispiness of the alcohol inks with this stunning butterfly!!!
