Happy Monday, friends!! We’re celebrating the Honey Bee Stamps Pet-tastic Release with a fun and inspirational Instagram hop!! I thought I would share the details for my adorable card here, as well!!

I began by stamping the oh-so-sweet puppy from the Dog Gone Amazing Stamp Set and the butterflies from the Meow & Forever Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Intense Black Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Dog Gone Amazing and Meow & Forever Coordinating Dies to cut them out. A yellow gel pen was used to add dots to the center of the flowers.

For the background, I die-cut a panel of pink plaid paper from the “Free-bee” paper pack with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set and adhered it to an A2 white card base with Bee Creative Glue. I die-cut a smaller rectangle from white cardstock and blended Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron Distress Inks onto it. I splattered it with diluted Mermaid Lagoon and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink and a paint brush and set it aside to dry. Another panel of white cardstock was die-cut with the scalloped die in the Decorative Star Layering Frames Die Set and the ink-blended panel was adhered to it, then it was adhered to the background with foam tape. The pup and butterfly images were adhered using Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiment, also from the Dog Gone Amazing Stamp Set, was stamped onto black cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The Coordinating Die was used to cut it out and it was popped up with foam tape. I added some shine to the pup’s eyes with a black glaze pen and a trio of pink pearls from the Sweet and Spooky Pearl Sticker Pack finishes off the card.
