Hello, crafters!! I hope you’re having a great week!! I’m sharing a mostly die-cut A7 card combining a couple of goodies from the latest Trinity Stamps release with some older products!! I love mixing and matching old with new to get the most from my stash!!
I started off by creating my background by die-cutting a panel of white cardstock with the second largest die in the Modern Embossed A-7 Layers Die Set and a piece of yellow cardstock with the largest die in the same set. I created the clouds by blending Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto the white panel using a Blending Buddy Brush and the Puffy Cloud Layers Stencil.
Next, I die-cut the sun from the Sunshine Die Set from orange and yellow cardstock and the glasses and smile from black and holographic cardstock. All of the pieces were adhered together with liquid glue.
The sentiment was die-cut from black and white cardstock using the Sun-sational Die Set, then layered and adhered together with liquid glue.
The rainbow was cut from several colors of cardstock using the Ray Bow Die Set. I wanted it to stretch all the way down my A7 card, so I trimmed each die-cut in half so I could space them out behind the sun.
The rainbow was adhered to the cloud background with liquid glue and the excess was trimmed from the top and bottom. I also die-cut two clouds from white cardstock using the Rainbow Builder Slimline Die Set and adhered those at the bottom, trimming away the excess. The cloud panel was then adhered to the yellow A7 panel with liquid glue.
“You are” & “sational” were adhered to the background with liquid glue, while the sunshine and “SUN” sentiment were popped up with foam tape.
I added a pink enamel dot from the Rainbow Glossy Glitter Enamel Dots Pack to each cheek to finish off the card.
That does it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! I’ll see you soon!!
