Hello, friends and happy Friday!!! It has been absolutely frigid here over the last week and don’t even get me started on the snow!! At least the sun is shining as I type this!!
On these dark and dreary days, I find that creating super colorful cards lifts my mood!! I think that is pretty much true for everyone!! So, what’s more colorful than rainbows? The Slimline Rainbow Builder Die Set from Trinity Stamps is perfect for this!! Let’s get to my project!
I began by stamping the gnome and hearts from Falling For You onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink and die-cutting the rainbow (also from white cardstock) using the Slimline Rainbow Builder Die Set.
I colored the gnome, hearts and rainbow with Copic markers, then die-cut the gnome and hearts with the Falling For You Coordinating Dies.
The background panel was cut from light blue cardstock using the Slimline Stitched Card Panels and Window Die Set, then adhered to a slimline cardbase. The clouds were cut from white cardstock and vellum with the Slimline Rainbow Builder Dies, then adhered to the background.
The sentiment, from Joyful Heart, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, then cut out with the Coordinating Die.
The gnome, hearts and sentiment die-cuts were popped up with foam adhesive for dimension.
Lastly, a few Creamy Vanilla Heart Embellishments were the perfect finishing touch!!
Thank you so very much for stopping by today!!
Stay warm and cozy!!!
