Hello, friends and happy Tuesday!! I hope your week is off to a great start!!
I hadn’t had a chance to use the Market Cart Builder from the Honey Bee Summer Stems Release yet. Now, I’m sorry that it took me soo long!! It is soooooo cuuuuute!!!
I started by die-cutting all of the components of the flower cart from mint green and white cardstock using the Market Cart Builder Honey Cuts. The stripes were added to the awning and scalloped trim using the Market Cart Builder Stencil, Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink and a blending brush. I colored and added shading to the rest of the die-cuts with Copic markers, then assembled the cart. There are detailed instructions on the product page for assembling it…It’s super easy!!
For the background, I die-cut the ground from a concrete piece of patterned paper in the Home Essentials Paper Pad using a die in the Horizon Slimline Borders Honey Cuts. The brick background is from the same paper pad. I added foam adhesive behind the cart and popped it up on the background. The sentiment, from the My Favorite Flower Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up on the cart with more foam tape. The finishing touch was a Jewel of Silver Rhinestone in the center of the wheel.
I just LOVE how this turned out!! I can’t wait to make more in other colors!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!
