You Make My Heart Saur – Trinity Stamps

Hello, crafters!! Happy Thursday!! I’m sharing a sweet card featuring the adorable dinosaur from the T-riffic Dinos Stamp Set from Trinity Stamps!!

I began by stamping the dinosaur image from the T-riffic Dinos Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out.

For the background, I blended Lumberjack Plaid, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon, Villainous Potion Distress Inks through the heart layer of the Checkered Background Add-on Hearts Stencil Set onto a panel of white cardstock using Blending Buddy Brushes. The x layer of the stencil was blended with black dye ink. The panel was die-cut with the second largest die in the Clean Cut Layers A2 Rectangle Die Set A and the largest die in the same die set was cut from black cardstock.

I die-cut tags from white and black cardstock using the fourth largest die in the Slimline Tags Die Set (I’m sorry…it appears that this set was discontinued, you could use a tag die in the Zip Gift tag Die Set) and the reinforcement circle from black cardstock. I blended clouds onto the white tag using the Puffy Cloud Layers Stencil, Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and a Blending Buddy.

The sentiment, also from the T-Riffic Dinos Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die.

From there, all I had to do was adhere everything together. The rectangle panels were adhered together using liquid glue. I adhered the black tag behind the cloud tag, slightly offset, and tied a bow of black and white twine through the hole, then adhered it to the right side of the background with liquid glue.

The dinosaur and sentiment die-cuts were popped up on the tag using foam tape.

A sprinkling of Onyx Heart Baubles was the perfect way to finish off the card.

That does it for me today!! Thank you so much for stopping by!!
