Hello, friends!! Most kids have started the new school year by now!! I’m sharing a card today for Crafty Meraki that would be super-cute to pack in a lunch box or tuck in a notebook!!
I began by stamping the adorable snail image from the Snug Bug Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then cut it out with the Coordinating Die.
For the background, I blended Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of white cardstock using the Foliage Frenzy Stencil. I splattered the panel with diluted inks in the same colors. It was trimmed and adhered to an A2 panel of green cardstock.
I die-cut two circles from red and white cardstock and adhered them to the lower right area of the card. The sentiment, also from the Snug Bug Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto a black cardstock strip. The snail die-cut and sentiment strip were popped up with foam adhesive. Fairy Garden Meraki Sparkles add a bit of sparkle and shine to complete the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a great Thursday!!
