Hello, crafty friends and happy Wednesday!! I hope you’re having a great week!! I have a monochromatic slimline card to share with you today featuring goodies from the latest April Release from Picket Fence Studios!!

I started by stamping the amazing flamingo and sentiment from the Fabulous Flamingos Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored the flamingo with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut her and the sentiment out.

For the background, I applied Pink Magnolia Paper Glaze Luxe to a panel of pink cardstock with a palette knife using the Lots Of Blossoms 6×8 Stencil. Once it was dry, I die cut it, along with a panel of white cardstock using dies from the Slim Line Nested Rectangles Die Set. Both panels were adhered to a white slimline card base.

The flamingo and sentiment die-cuts were popped up with foam tape. Lots of pink iridescent sequins from the Butterfly Bush Embellishment Mix were the perfect finishing touch.

I really love how this turned out! I can’t wait to use the other flamingo image in the Fabulous Flamingos set!!
