Good morning friends!! I hope you are having a fantastic week!!
I have a slim-line, spring-like card to share with you today using the Winter Anemone stamp set from Honey Bee. I love the extra space that the slim-line card gives me to add more stamped images.
I am longing for spring and creating some floral cards at least brings a bit of spring to my craft room, even thought the weather outside says otherwise. The name of this stamp set is Winter Anemone, but in these bright colors, they say spring to me!!
I began by stamping the images from Winter Anemone along the bottom of a panel of Bristol paper with Versamark Ink and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I used Tombow markers to watercolor the images and then splattered some diluted blue ink onto the panel. The panel was trimmed and adhered to a panel of blue cardstock. I die-cut the friendship die-cut using the Friendship Honey Cuts from the same blue cardstock and vellum for the bottom layer. I stamped the rest of the sentiment from the Friendship stamp set around the die-cut with blue ink. Quite a few Aurora Lights Confetti Mix were scattered along the floral border, for the finishing touch.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! I hope I have brought a little spring to your corner of the world!!
I’ll see soon!!!
