Hello, again my friends!! I have an all die-cut card to share today for Scrappy Tails Crafts featuring the Stacked Suitcases Die Set!!
I began by die-cutting all the pieces for my suitcases from yellow, orange, red, cranberry, brown, ivory and brushed gold cardstock using the Stacked Suitcases Die Set. I added some shading with Copic markers, then adhered all the pieces together with liquid glue. The sentiment is from the same set. It was die-cut from brown and pearl gold cardstock. I added some shading to the brown layer with some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide and adhered the layers together, slightly offset.
A piece of script pattern paper from the Life Is A Story Paper Pad was die-cut with a rectangle die and adhered to a white A2 card base. A panel of vellum was die-cut with a deckled edge rectangle die. I swiped the edges with a Versamark pad and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder. The suitcases and sentiments were adhered to the vellum with liquid glue, then the vellum was adhered, adding adhesive only behind the die-cuts.
A couple of brushed gold pearls were added to the top corners of the vellum. This also gave me a place to add a dot of adhesive to the back of the vellum panel, as the corners were curling up.
I love that this can be used for so many different occasions…graduation, retirement, new job or even back to school!!
Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! I appreciate your time!!
