Hello, my friends!! I hope your day is off to a great start!!

I have a card to share today that uses one of the new plates from the Spellbinders Glimmer Backgrounds Collection!! Although the name of this plate is Hand Drawn Wave Glimmer Hot Foil Plate, all I saw was rainbows!! Especially when paired with the new Rainbow Hot Foil Roll!!

Let’s get started!! (Please ignore my rainbow glimmer plate in the background…I put the foil on backwards one time…lol!! It is pretty though!)

I started by foiling the Hand Drawn Wave Glimmer Hot Foil Plate with the Rainbow Hot Foil onto two panels of white cardstock using the Glimmer Hot Foil System (which is currently ON SALE!!!). I trimmed one panel along the top edge of the rainbow and adhered it to the bottom of the other panel. I trimmed this down to slightly smaller than A2 and adhered it to an A2 size cardbase.

The greeting, from Honey Bee’s Rainbow Wishes stamp set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, then die-cut with one of the Nestabilities Essential Rectangles Etched Dies. I popped it up in the center of the foiled background with foam tape. A few Rainbow Pinwheels were the perfect finishing touch!!

That’s it!! A simple card that really lets that rainbow foil shine!!!
